Please join us for a special concert featuring award-winning pianist Sol Park, a student of Dr. Jack Winerock, performing at Schmitt Music Kansas City on Saturday, January 19 at 4:30PM – FREE and open to the public!

Dr. Jack Winerock is an American classical pianist and piano professor at the KU School of Music. He has received national and international acclaim as a teacher, clinician, and adjudicator.

Sol Park

Sol Park, from South Korea, is a high school senior of Bishop Seabury Academy in Lawrence, Kansas. She currently studies with Dr. Jack Winerock, Chair of the Piano Department of the University of Kansas. She began playing piano and violin at age four and has won multiple awards for piano performance in South Korea and the United States.

Some of her accomplishments include first prize at the Haneum Music Competition, the Kansas Music Teachers Association, and the Music Teachers National Association. Sol has participated in master classes with Robert McDonald, Alexander Braginsky, Fei Xu, and Vladimir Valjarevic. She also made her orchestral debut performing with Busan Neo Philharmonic Orchestra and has been featured in a solo recital in Seoul, South Korea at age 11.

In her spare time, she enjoys drawing, reading, taking photos, and playing with her dogs.
