Barry began his musical career at the age of 8 when he started piano lessons. He went on to major in piano performance at California State University at Fullerton, studying with Dr. David Berfield, a student of Nadia Boulanger. Barry works extensively with the music departments of all the major colleges and universities in Colorado. He stays true to his piano roots, however, by playing for church twice a week, by doing some studio work, and by teaching a handful of piano students. Barry would be delighted to help you – his goal is to give you all the facts so that you can better determine the piano that best suits your needs.

Mindy began taking piano lessons at the age of 6, and music and the piano have been an integral part of her life ever since. Mindy has been a piano teacher since 1991, and started the podcast Enhance Life with Music in 2019. The show champions and explores the holistic power of music in our everyday lives through the lens of science & health, sports & entertainment, business, and education. Mindy also plays piano/keys at her local church in Eden Prairie. She loves listening to live music, expressing herself through music, learning more about the benefits of music, and equipping others’ love of music – including helping you find the best piano for your setting and students!
