We’re proud to be a part of the fine music education that you provide to your students, and encourage you to get acquainted with the new SDC team.
Jodi has had music in her life since she can remember. Starting with vivid memories of learning where “Middle C” was at the age of three and plucking out “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” by ear. Throughout the years she has dabbled with a variety of instruments including: Violin, Piano and Tuba. Mostly she found her excellence in vocal performance and has performed in a variety of ensembles and venues from National choirs, to small jazz groups and the musical theater stage.
Professionally, Jodi has 15 years of corporate finance experience and enjoys the detective work in getting to the root of issues. She was happy to make the move to bring music back to her day to day life and is proud to head up this knowledgeable and wonderful team!
Mitch began his musical adventures at a young age, being born into a family that always had mu-sic playing it wasn’t hard to see he would soon grow a love and admiration for music. He began playing music at a young age and would continue to play and perform through his life. Playing in his High School Jazz band and small bands he set his sight on an education in music. Passionate about music he attended Minneapolis Community and Technical College for an Associate’s degree in Studio Production Engineering. After finding he enjoys helping others with musical needs he soon found a perfect fit with Schmitt Music as a sales associate. Working up to a dual position as Accessory and Print specialist he became part of the SDC team and continues to work with the team.
In his free time Mitch enjoys spending time with his girlfriend and their two cats and cooking in his much too small kitchen. Grateful for the musical gift his parents gave him, Mitch continues to help new and experience musicians with their musical needs.
