Jeff Antoniuk of Jazz Wire teaches a Jazz Improv workshop May 31 at Schmitt Music Bloomington!

Jeff Antoniuk, a renowned educator and founder of Jazz Wire online learning communities, will teach a workshop focusing on jazz improvisation and practice room techniques to make the most of your practice sessions as you develop new skills.

There are a lot of myths and conventional wisdom around what to practice in jazz, and how to go about practicing it. And, like many myths and much conventional wisdom, it can be incomplete, misleading or just plain wrong. Jeff will set the record straight, and promises that though it may be challenging anyone is capable of learning the language of jazz interpretation.

This event is open to all instrumentalists! While topics like tone and articulation may be specific to the saxophone, jazz and improvisation is  a universal language, and this workshop will offer something for everyone!

Join us from 4-5 PM on Friday, May 31 at Schmitt Music Bloomington for this exciting opportunity!

The Sax Shop at Schmitt Music Bloomington is your destination for all things saxophone. As a passionate supporter of music education, we frequently host recitals, masterclasses, and other performances and workshops to give back to our saxophone community.

Attendees of this workshop will have access to a discount code for tickets to Jeff’s performance at Crooner’s Supperclub the same evening.
