Andy has performed as a soloist and accompanist throughout the United States and Europe. He’s an avid teacher, vocal coach, and theatrical music director, and has worked with many theaters and organizations in the Twin Cities, including Minnesota Orchestra, Children’s Theatre Company, and History Theatre. His performances can be heard on Minnesota Public Radio, A Prairie Home Companion, and Cantus’ albums A Harvest Home and Manifesto.

Andy has a doctorate degree in Collaborative Piano from the University of Minnesota; he’s also served on its faculty, as well as at institutions including Hamline University and McNally Smith College of Music, and he has given master classes at colleges and universities across the country to a variety of skill levels. This translates to extensive experience with a wide variety of pianos, and a deep interest in finding the right piano for you.

From Maplewood, MN Keegan graduated from Bethel University in 2020. Keegan graduated with a degree in K-12 Instrumental Music Education and a second degree in Saxophone Performance. While at Bethel Keegan took piano lessons and completed his piano proficiency with Dr. Herb Johnson, who sparked his passion for learning piano and his desire to help pianists find the piano that is right for them. Additionally, Keegan studied saxophone with Gary Crowe and was a member as well as section leader of the Bethel University Wind Ensemble, 5:40 Jazz Orchestra, and 11:12 Jazz Orchestra. While a member of the Bethel University Wind Ensemble Keegan toured the Midwest in the spring of 2018 and perform David Gillingham’s “Double Image: Concerto for Two Saxophones.”He also was a member of the Philharmonic Orchestra, Handbell Ensemble, and Chamber Orchestra with which he toured the Midwest performing Alexander Glazunov’s “Concerto for Alto Saxophone” in the spring of 2019. Keegan currently teaches, actively gigs, and works as a guest artist and clinician around the Twin Cities area.

24 years ago, Sue joined the piano sales staff at Schmitt Music, and then went on to hold several different management positions in the Keyboard Division of Schmitt Music. She feels her experience in the piano business has provided her with a tremendous education while allowing her to be of service to and advocate for teachers and their students.

Sue has a bachelor’s degree in piano from the University of Minnesota, where she also completed several years of graduate work in Medieval and Renaissance music. Sue began teaching piano in 1970. She has served in many different capacities in the Minnesota Music Teachers Association (MMTA)-among them Honors Concert Chair, Vice-President for Contest, Contest Judge Coordinator, and for many years as an MMTA Foundation Board Trustee. She served as president of MMTA in 2003-2005.

She presently serves as Minnesota’s State Certification Chair, and President of the MMTA Foundation Board. She is also an active member of Mpls Music Teachers Forum, Thursday Musical, St. Paul Piano Teachers Association, the Schubert Club, and the Frederic Chopin Society of MN.
