Do you offer a trial program for flutes?

Yes! We make it easy to play flutes before you make a decision, offering in-store and out-of-store trials. We will ship up to two flutes and three headjoints to your home so you can compare to your current instrument, bring them to a lesson, and truly get to know each instrument.

You can also make arrangements to try flutes at any of Schmitt’s 12 Midwest stores (contact us first so we can ensure the right instruments are available at your preferred location).

Do I need to set up an appointment to try out flutes?

Although we strongly recommend that you set up an appointment to try out flutes, it is not required. Setting up an appointment ensures that a flute specialist will be able to assist you. It also gives our flute specialists the chance to ask you a few questions about your playing experience, brand preferences, and budget.
