Please join us for a performance by Steinway Artist Zoya Shuhatovich at Schmitt Music Denver on Thursday, September 14, at 7PM – free and open to the public!

Ms. Shuhatovich is a truly magnificent artist. She masterfully controls the keyboard and makes the instrument produce magical sound-effects!

Shuhatovich is a Russian-born concert pianist who received her M.M and DMA at the Gorky (Nizhny Novgorod) State Concervatory, Russia under the tutelage of the highly regarded professor Ilja Fridman, student of the legendary Heinrich Neuhaus. Since immigrating to the United States in 1993 she has performed with countless symphony and chamber orchestras as well as solo performances.

Zoya Shuhatovich is an International Concert Pianist, Steinway Artist.
She received her M.M and DMA at the Gorky (Nizhny Novgorod) State Concervatory, Russia under the tutelage of the highly regarded professor Ilja Fridman, student of the legendary Heinrich Neuhaus.
She immigrated to the US, Houston in 1993, where she currently resides.

Zoya worked at the Moore’s School of Music, University of Houston from 1994 to 2002.
She performs extensively in Europe: UK, France, Italy, Spain, Austria, Germany, Poland, Kosovo, Liechtenstein, Estonia. Her regular and multiple appearances include:

Paris– Salle Cortot, Cathedral Americaine, Eglise Americaine, Eglise Ecossaise, Steinway Hall, Les Ateliers de la Main d’Or etc.
London- St. Martin-in-The Fields, Royal Over-Seas League, Princess Alexandra Hall, Steinway Hall…
Madrid- Steinway Gallery , Kawai Music Center, Clemente Musica.
Rome- Sala Baldini, Concerti del Tempietto, Festival Musicale delle Nazione, Teatro di Marcello
Vienna- Palais Khevenhuller, Gesselschaft fur Musiktheatre
Germany- Concerts in Berlin, Stuttgart, Essen, Dusseldorf, Magdeburg, Rostock, Schwerin etc
Tallinn– Great Hall “Estonia”

 She extensively performs in the US with Symphony and Chamber Orchestras, appears in many concert series with solo recitals.

New York- for Chopin Foundation of the US, Chopin Festival, General Consulate of Poland, Kosciuszko Foundation , Museum of the City of New York, Klavierhaus, for Puerto Rican Society, Steinway Hall, St. John in the Village.
Ms.Shuhatovich is regular in Chicago, Atlanta, Denver, Minneapolis, San Antonio, Austin, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles.

She participated in major festivals:

 Texas Music Festival, Bravo Festival, Ramapo College, Mahwah, New Jersey, Chopin Festival NYC, Shostakovich Festival, Neuhaus-Marantz Festival, Germany, Round Top Festival, Chopin Piano Festival, Prishtina, Kosovo.
Zoya is regular at KUHF, KUHA (NPR) Public Radio Stations.
She performed for President Clinton, Members of the Spanish Royal Family, Prime Minister of Kosovo Mr. Albin Kurti and many other dignitaries.

She collaborated with Laszlo Varga, Emmanuel Borok, Boris Garlitsky, St. Petersburg String Quartet, Igor Gruppman and others.
She made  number of CD recordings.
One of the highlights of 2022 season was a debut solo recital in Vienna for Gesselschaft Fur Musik Theatre. It received a raving review from Vienna International Pianists and she was invited back for another solo recital next season.
