Pianist Isabel Keleti in Recital at Schmitt Music Kansas City

Schmitt Music presents a free recital with pianist Isabel Keleti at Schmitt Music Kansas City on Wednesday, March 20th at 6:30PM – Free and Open to the Public!

Ms. Keleti’s program at Schmitt Music will include Bach, Brahms, P. Glass, Bartók and more. Seating is limited, so please let us know if you plan to attend.

Isabel Keleti is a pianist from Leawood, KS, and currently attends Mannes School of Music in NYC for her M.M. in Piano Performance under the direction of Dr. Vladimir Valjarević. She previously received her B.M. in Piano Performance from the University of Kansas studying with Dr. Jack Winerock.

Isabel was awarded the Gladys Casford Memorial Scholarship, first prize in the KMTA Collegiate Auditions, first prize in the K.C. Musical Club Competition, and was a finalist in the International Young Artist Piano Competition in D.C. She has performed extensively at international music festivals such as the Beijing International Music Festival and Academy, International Keyboard Institute and Festival, and MusicFest Perugia. Isabel is passionate about giving back to the community, and worked with local nonprofit organizations and the KU MTNA Collegiate Chapter to organize a series of benefit concerts in Lawrence, Kansas. Most recently, Isabel was awarded a Mannes Teaching Fellowship and currently teaches at Piano Lessons NYC.
