Your continuing music student may be ready to take the next step in their musical journey by moving into a performance-level instrument.
Join us for “The Next Step” Selection Event from 10AM to 6PM on Saturday, December 12th at Schmitt Music Brooklyn CenterONE DAY ONLY!
This is our largest selection event of the year! The sale will feature:

• A selection of over $1,000,000 in Performance and Professional instruments on-site

Double Rebate opportunities with participating manufacturers

• Special pricing on instruments (specific serial numbers)

• Manufacturer Representatives on-site and expert help available

We are now accepting appointments for this once-a-year selection event at our Brooklyn Center showroom, and we encourage you to schedule your appointment now!

Scheduling early guarantees the largest selection of instruments. Appointments are scheduled on a first-come basis, but every attempt will be made to find a convenient time for everyone.

Schmitt Music’s “The Next Step” instrument program offers the best selection of Performance and Professional instruments in the Midwest! We also offer a variety of payment options and financing programs that make ownership easy and convenient. If you are currently making payments on a Schmitt Music “Better Than Rent” instrument, you have an Earned Equity Credit that you can toward the purchase of your new “Next Step” instrument at our Selection Event!

Earned Equity Credit amount varies: band instrument customers can get an Earned Equity up to $495; that Earned Equity is applicable to all in-stock “Gold Level” band instruments on December 12th. Orchestra instrument customers get an Earned Equity Credit of 100% of payments made to date. Earned Equity Credit is available for customers whose accounts are current and in good standing.

Shane Deuel – Eastman Music Company

As many careers in the music industry begin, Shane Deuel’s started with the trumpet in the 6th grade band. After graduating with a degree in Music Education in 2002 from Western Michigan University, he became the Advertising Manager at the premier music educator magazine, The Instrumentalist, in Chicago. Lured by the great skiing, Shane and his wife moved to Salt Lake City, Utah, where he became a school representative for a local music store; a position held for over nine years. During that time, Shane grew to know and respect a line of musical instruments from the Eastman Music Company – in 2013, he became a Regional Sales Manager with Eastman Music Company, which includes the renowned brands of Eastman Strings, Andreas Eastman winds, Wm. S. Haynes flutes, and the S.E. Shires Brass Company

Sophie Rojas – Conn-Selmer Inc.

Sophie Rojas is the District Sales Manager for Conn-Selmer Inc, which is the largest manufacturer of American made Instruments, and the US distributor for Selmer Paris and Yanagisawa. Covering the Central Midwest territory, she serves the states of Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, and Missouri. Prior to her position with Conn-Selmer, she worked for 15 years as store manager of a retail music store in Kansas City, MO. There she gained her experience and extensive product knowledge of a wide range of musical instrument manufacturers and leading products. She received a Bachelor of Music Performance degree from The University of Central Missouri. She has always been active in music, playing piano, percussion, and choir.
