Pianist Kyu Yeon Park in Concert at Schmitt Music Denver

Please join us for a concert featuring pianist and educator Kyu Yeon Park at Schmitt Music Denver on Sunday, November 17 at 6PM – free and open to the public!

Kyu Yeon Park

Kyu Yeon ParkSouth Korean Pianist Kyu Yeon Park is professor of piano at Kunsan National University and is currently a visiting research scholar at the University of Colorado Boulder.

She has received performance and pedagogy degrees from Konservatorium der Stadt Wien and the Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst in Wien.

Kyu Yeon Park has performed in her native South Korea, Japan, Europe and U.S.A as soloist, with orchestras, and as collaborator. With a passion for music education She has published annotated pedagogical editions of works by Bach and Schumann.

She is the director of Armonia, a performing group of her graduate students in Korea, planning regular concerts to help them toward success as musicians.

She is vice-president of Honam branch of the Piano Society of Korea, a board member of the Piano Duo Association of Korea and a board member of the International Piano Music Society of Korea.
