Introducing Schmitt Music Bloomington – our new headquarters, main warehouse and flagship store! Over the past 125 years, Schmitt Music has grown from a one-man print music retailer to a leader in the school music and piano industries, and we’re still growing.
The expanded specialty shop areas will carry larger selections of upper-line instruments in store, and offer trial spaces with video call technology. Our Steinway Spirio lounge provides a space to experience the magic of Spirio in style, and the new 100-seat Concert Hall will host an array of recitals and performances in a state-of-the-art facility that provides an ideal setting for live music of all types.

What’s with the new logo?
Our move to Bloomington is such a big change, we are also thought it would be the perfect time to update our branding and give a fresh new look to the entire company. We’ve changed our logo many times over the past 125 years but we continue to offer the same great service and expertise! Our new Bloomington location will showcase the new style, and it will be rolled out to all our stores over the coming months.
