The Theo Wanne AMBIKA IV Hard Rubber Tenor Saxophone Mouthpiece is Theo Wanne’s darkest mouthpiece, with a deep, full-bodied sound inspired by vintage 1940s tenor mouthpieces. Its Large-Stadium-Chamber™ and straight baffle produce a warm, dense sound with strong projection, while the rounded inner side walls help maintain a full response across the range.
The AMBIKA IV features Theo Wanne’s patented Shark-Gill Baffle™, using boundary-layer airflow principles to increase dynamics and produce a fuller sound. The mouthpiece is made from vintage-style hard rubber with a thin body designed to resonate with the material.
