At 5' 4", the Boston GP-163 offers an expanded grand piano scale while maintaining the compact footprint that defines the Boston line. Its wide-tail design provides increased soundboard area for its size, helping provide greater tonal depth, clarity, and sustain. The GP-163 features Boston's signature construction with a Hard Rock Maple inner rim, tapered solid Sitka spruce soundboard, and lower tension string scale for a balanced and responsive tone.

Built with Steinway & Sons-designed hammers, all wooden action parts, and an Octagrip® pinblock, the GP-163 combines thoughtful design with proven construction techniques. Available in Ebony, Mahogany, Walnut, and White polished finishes, with Ebony, Mahogany, and Walnut also available in satin finishes.
