Made by The Reed Machine

Keep your clarinet in tune with the Robert DiLutis Tuning Rings. Made from soft rubber, one of three rings is placed in between your barrel and top joint after you pull out your barrel. The placement of the ring allows you to keep your airstream focused by closing the gap created as you pull out at the barrel so both your tuning and tone remains focused clear, and in tune.

When pulling out your barrel, you create a small gap between the barrel and top joint. This can positively affect your tuning, but reduces the focus of your airstream, negatively affecting the quality of your sound in the throat tones. The rings are used to fill that gap so you can maintain optimal focus of your airstream for the best possible tone.

The rings come in a set of 3 rings in various thicknesses. Thicknesses are .5mm, 1mm and 2mm.
