Pre-Owned 1956 Martin Committee Deluxe

Martin Committee trumpets have been played by jazz legends for well over 70 years. Miles Davis, Art Farmer, Dizzy Gillespie, Chet Baker, and Chris Botti all famously made their names on these fabulous horns. This individual is the Deluxe model, sporting nickel silver balusters, inner & outer slides, receiver, and valve caps. It has the #2 (.453") medium bore, and a 4-3/4" bell. It's a very forgiving blow with a gorgeous, warm sound. Lacquer is about 80% intact, note wear particularly around the valve casings. Possible evidence of repair on bell bow and/or bell tail. Original case included.  Also included is a typed history of the horn from the original (and only) owner, which we think is pretty neat!
