The customizable Pickett Brushed Silver-Plated Mouthpiece Backbores are one of a kind. We offer four different models with many different styles and throat sizes to compliment any playing situation. These backbores are available in Polished Silver, Brushed Gold, Polished Gold, and Raw Brass upon request.

Standard Series:

• Symphonic Large - Very free blowing backbore that allows the orchestral player to use massive quantities of air without losing focus.  Commonly paired with either a #24, or #25 throat.
• Symphonic - For players who prefer a free blow with less resistance than the #2 backbore.
• Symphonic Chamber - This backbore offers the 'classic' feel that classical players have grown accustomed to.  With just the right amount of resistance this backbore has a bold beautiful tone.
• Solo Chamber - A compact, and focused sound without adding great resistance. This backbore blends well for big band section playing without producing that strident sound known for lead trumpet playing. The compact, and focused sound pair nicely for piccolo trumpet playing.
