The Kawai NV6 Novus Hybrid Digital Piano combines an acoustic upright piano action with digital sound generation in a cabinet designed for home or studio use. It features Kawai’s Millennium III Hybrid upright action with wooden keys and graded ABS hammers, allowing the key and pedal movement to correspond closely with an acoustic upright piano. The instrument uses the SK-EX Rendering sound engine to reproduce the sound of the Shigeru Kawai SK-EX concert grand and includes a multi-speaker system with a built-in soundboard speaker that projects sound through the cabinet. Bluetooth MIDI and audio connectivity, USB audio and MIDI, and a touchscreen control panel provide access to instrument settings, recording, and additional sound options.
