Core Select 2900G - Ming Jiang Zhu Violin

The Core Select 2900G is a violin made in 2018 by the Ming-Jiang Zhu Workshop in Guangzhou. Instruments from this workshop are crafted in the tradition of the great Italian masters and are widely appreciated for their rich, powerful tone and consistent quality.

Founded by Ming-Jiang Zhu, the workshop has earned international recognition for its craftsmanship. Zhu himself has received more than nineteen awards in violin-making competitions, while members of his workshop have collectively earned an additional twenty-three honors, including two gold and three silver medals from competitions organized by the Violin Society of America.

The CS2900 model follows a Guarneri pattern, known for its strong, resonant lower register and broad tonal palette across the instrument’s range, offering depth on the G-string along with clarity and responsiveness throughout the other registers.
