Pre-Owned Early Elkhart Bach Stradivarius 37 in Raw Brass

Used Bach Stradivarius 37 in raw brass from the early Elkhart era. The serial number places its production in 1975 or possibly very late 1974. Note the two-piece valve casings with nickel silver balusters, a configuration that was abandoned on the 180-series Strads in favor of one-piece casings in 1977. This individual had its finish stripped aftermarket, though there are some final remenants of lacquer in the odd place like between valve casings. It has a nice patina on it now. Note some dents and evidence of non-major repair work to the bell flare and bow. Includes original case.
