Schmitt Music Bloomington | Educational Representative
Leeanne Kardock
Leeanne Kardock brings decades of music industry experience and passion to her role as an Educational Representative at Schmitt Music. A graduate of Lake City High School, she earned a degree in Music Management from Mankato State University and later completed a Repair Degree from Red Wing Technical College.
Leeanne spent 11 years in repair, developing deep expertise in instrument care and service before transitioning into her Educational Representative role at Schmitt Music in 2005. Her background in repair gives her a unique perspective when supporting directors, students, and school music programs.
An active musician, Leeanne performs piccolo and flute with the Medalist Concert Band and the Northern Symphony Orchestra in Anoka. Earlier in her musical journey, she enjoyed performing in Drum and Bugle Corps, further shaping her love for ensemble performance.
Outside of work, Leeanne is an avid reader; her favorite book is Gone with the Wind. She also loves dogs and is sometimes accompanied at the office by her lovable canine, Bartok. At home, she and her husband Jason, a meat cutter; share plenty of laughs, especially since Bartok seems to think Jason is the favorite (something about smelling like bacon!).
