The ONYX is B. Corbin's most popular Bass Clarinet Mouthpiece.
Utilizing premium German rod rubber and based on Corbin's own Custom A-frame blank, they CNC mill these mouthpieces while maintaining the machine finish on the exterior of the mouthpiece. This gives it a matte finish compared to the smooth, glossy appearance of Corbin's extensively hand-finished Custom and marbled hard rubber mouthpieces.
With a recommended 3 - 3.5 strength reed, this mouthpiece gives a large, colorful sound that projects across the hall.
