The new Yamaha YBL-835, developed with support from internationally acclaimed artist Tomer Maschkowski of the Deutsche Symphonie Orchester Berlin, is an exciting evolution in Xeno bass trombone design, replacing the popular YBL-830 Xeno bass trombone.
The new model features improved airflow with an updated handslide receiver, redesigned rotor valve, yellow brass (YBL-835) and gold brass bell (YBL-835G) material options, and a detachable bell option (YBL-835D/GD) for more compact travel and increased weight, stability and projection.
Professional bass trombone players, amateurs, and advancing students will notice the familiar ease and efficient feel of the previous model but with the added ability to put more air into the instrument with a more robust sound in return.
