Eastman 605 Quenoil with C-extension

Andreas Eastman Model 605 basses are crafted with beautifully flamed European maple and premium spruce and is finished with a luminous, hand-applied, German-style varnish. Each of these instruments are plate tuned by master luthiers for outstanding projection, tone color, and playability. The result is a visually and tonally stunning instrument. A slender instrument with good midrange and easy playability in all registers.

The Quenoil bass is named after Charles Quenoil, the renowned bassist and violin maker and it has a distinctive design. Often featuring a sloped shoulder design that makes it more ergonomic and easier to play in higher positions. This design is particularly beneficial for solo and orchestral playing.
