Consignment Bb Buffet Crampon RC Prestige Greenline Clarinet

The RC Prestige is one of the top models in the RC bore family of clarinets. The Grenadilla wood is carefully selected for its acoustic and aesthetic qualities.

The mechanics are prepared and finished with great precision: milling holes inside the specifications according to the Buffet Crampon expertise. The tenons of the body are capped by metal rings for stability. The mechanics are carefully assembled and adjusted by expert technicians.

This clarinet is made of Buffet Crampon's proprietary and ecofriendly greenline material. Buffet Crampon developed the Greenline series in 1994 as a way to produce a professional instrument that can withstand admirably to variations in atmospheric conditions (temperature, humidity), but also reduce the manufacturing impact on the African grenadilla wood population.

The body is constructed of 95% grenadilla wood and 5% polycarbonate fiber and epoxy resin. This gives it a much higher resistance to the effects of temperature and humidity changes, especially preventing any cracking.

This clarinet has been fully overhauled and restored by master craftsman at Winker's Woodwind Specialties.
