Originally from Bayamón, Puerto Rico, Juan Berrios enjoys a multifaceted musical career. He has performed with a wide variety of musical ensembles from symphony and jazz orchestras to British style brass bands. A passionate educator, Juan works with countless students of all ages across the country each year as a guest clinician, conductor, chamber music coach, marching band instructor, and private instructor. He studied Music Education and Performance at the University of Central Florida, and attended the Music Academy of the West as well as the Aspen Music Festival. He is a Buffet Crampon USA Performing Artist and performs exclusively on a Hans Hoyer K10 French Horn, and a Besson Prestige Eb Tenor Horn.
When not touring with the Dallas Brass, Juan enjoys teaching, cooking, and bowling. He lives in Kissimmee, FL with his wife, Anielka, a flute player and elementary school music teacher. Juan has been a member of the Dallas Brass since 2010.
