Steinway Artist Tao Lin & Dr. Catherine Lan in Concert: Thursday, February 28 at 7PM

Please join us for an evening of music with Steinway Artist Tao Lin and Dr. Catherine Lan at Schmitt Music Denver on Thursday, February 28 at 7PM.

The internationally renowned husband and wife concert pianists will perform solo, and together as Duo Beaux Arts. Formed in 2008, the duo has performed around the world and specializes in music from the Baroque era to the contemporary, including Tangos and Ragtime. Duo Beaux Arts will be making their Netherland, Finland, and Estonia debuts in 2019.

Duo Beaux Arts was formed in 2008 by internationally renowned husband and wife concert pianists Steinway Artist Tao Lin and Dr. Catherine Lan.

Season highlights include concerts in Colorado, South Dakota, Virginia, Washington D.C., as well as tour in China, debut appearances in Italy, Netherland, Finland and Estonia, as well as Catherine’s concerto debut with the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra. The Duo has performed collectively in Taiwan, Singapore, Thailand, Japan, China, Mexico, Canada, Slovenia, United Kingdom, Croatia, France, Norway, Switzerland, Spain, and across the USA, specializing in music from the Baroque era to the contemporary, including Tangos and Ragtime. They are also the founders of Beaux Arts Chamber Music Series in Naples, Florida, which invites pre-eminent chamber ensembles in the world to perform in a wonderfully intimate setting.

While Tao is on faculty at Bowdoin International Music Festival and Shanghai Normal University, Catherine teaches at Broward College and serves as co-artistic director at Rosemary Duffy Larson Classical Series and co-founder at Chrysalis Chamber Players. Duo Beaux Arts has been featured on Fox4 Morning Blend TV, Venice Magazine, Parklander Magazine, Asian Trend Magazine, World Journal and Gulfshore Life Magazine. The Duo has performed at prestigious venues such as Carnegie Hall, Fitzwilliam Museum, Kennedy Center, and National Gallery of Art.
