As Artistic Director for Pendulum New Music at CU-Boulder, she has brought in international artists to the region from Finland, Mexico, the U.K., and hosted celebrity masterclasses including Kronos and Béla Fleck. She has also taught as visiting piano faculty for several universities including CU-Boulder, organizations including the Rocky Ridge Adult Seminars, International Keyboard Odyssiad Festival, and Friends of Chamber Music Denver, and has lectured at conferences including the MTNA National Convention. Her Conscious ListeningTM seminars bring dynamic teaching to festivals, private homes, music societies, and pre-concert talks for the CU Presents Artist Series. A beloved teacher, her students have won numerous solo and concerto prizes, her master classes include Conservatoire Ravel in Paris and Xiamen University, and she also adjudicates regularly for national and international competitions. A Steinway Artist, she often collaborates with her husband, composer Daniel Kellogg, and they have one daughter. Besides her work, she loves to travel with her family, take dance and improv classes, and watch Tiny House YouTube videos to fantasize about decluttering.
