This year we’re accepting nominations in three categories for Schmitt Music’s 2015-2016 Educators of the Year! You may certainly nominate educators in more than one category or nominate multiple candidates in one cateogry. There are only a few prerequisites that you need to consider:
• Your nominee must be actively teaching this school year
• You must nominate your candidate for one of the three categories: elementary, middle school, or high school
• Your nominee must have a minimum of three years’ experience in the classroom at that level
• Your nominee must currently be contributing to music education outside of his/her school district
Nominated educators will be notified and asked to provide additional information about themselves, their program, and their career. AN impartial panel of music professionals will review all submitted information to determine Schmitt Music’s 2015-2016 Educators of the Year. The selection will be made by February 1, 2015.
