BrassChix 2015, University of St. Thomas event at Schmitt Music Brooklyn Center

The Trombone Shop and The Trumpet Shop, in partnership with the University of St. Thomas Music Department, proudly present the 2015 BrassChix forum at Schmitt Music Brooklyn Center on Sunday, January 18 from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM!

BrassChix is an annual gathering of female brass players from high school, college and beyond, to play music, discuss ideas, and enjoy the camaraderie of playing a brass instrument. Join us for this special event featuring a Master Class and presentations focusing on playing brass instruments and brass equipment. Tuba, Euphonium, Trombone, Horn and Trumpet players of all ages and levels are welcome!  Visit BrassChix.org for a complete schedule and event details.

BrassChix mission is to encourage high school girls and women of all ages to play a brass instrument. The annual BrassChix forums aim to cultivate a network of peers and mentors among female brass players, through activities designed to engage participants’ music making, and conversations about the rewards of playing a brass instrument.
