Directors can get a Full Scholarship to CSI!
We have an exciting opportunity for directors, including a full scholarship to the Conn-Selmer Institute! Since 1997, Conn-Selmer Institute has been the preeminent event focused on music education. Held annually in Mishawaka, Indiana, sessions are focused on recruitment techniques, retention blueprints, student engagement and motivation as well as many other topics not typically covered in the collegiate education atmosphere. The Institute is designed to address the unique needs of educators ranging from college students to veteran teachers and administrators. This year there will be a factory tour, a reading band session and the Canadian Brass will be performing for you. The dates of the Institute are Sunday, June 8 – Wednesday, June 11, 2014.
The usual registration fee is $299 with an additional fee of $99 for on campus housing for a total of $398. Schmitt Music has partnered with Conn-Selmer and we are happy to tell you that all registration fees, on campus housing and coach bus transportation from Schmitt Music’s Brooklyn Center store will be paid for by Schmitt Music and Conn-Selmer!
