33rd Annual Schmitt Music Piano Competition
Friday, March 3rd - Sunday, March 19th
Schmitt Music is hosting our annual piano competition in-person this spring, open to ages 3-19, for students in Colorado, Wyoming, and New Mexico!
Registration must be submitted by Friday, February 3, 2023.

Important Dates
It is very important that we have the students age and date of birth on the entry form this year! The age listed should be the student's age on 3/1/2023.
Completed entry form including the listed requirements must be submitted via the form below, or sent to Schmitt Music: 155 W. Hampden Ave., Suite 155B, Englewood, CO 80110 by February 3, 2023. Note: If you are mailing your packet in, please make sure it arrives to Schmitt Music no later than Friday, February 3, 2023. This is a hard deadline this year and no exceptions will be made!
Non-Competitive Division (NCD)
Competition dates are Friday, March 3 — Sunday, March 5, 2023. Scheduled times and date will be confirmed by email after application deadline.
Competitive Division (CD)
Competition dates are Friday, March 10 — Sunday, March 12, 2023. Scheduled times and date will be confirmed by email after application deadline.
Advanced Competitive Division (ACD)
Competition dates are Friday, March 17 — Sunday, March 19, 2023. Scheduled times and date will be confirmed by email after application deadline.

Honors Recital
The annual Honors Recital will take place by division at Schmitt Music in Englewood, CO. Details TBA.
Please note: The 1st place winners of GROUPS I, II, III & IV will have the opportunity to perform at a National Repertory Orchestra Concert in Breckenridge. The exact date of the performance will be arranged after the competition; however, it will be sometime between June through August 2023.
