Konstantin Lifschitz Master Class - Greater Kansas CityFREE master class featuring concert pianist Konstantin Lifschitz working with piano majors from the University of Missouri at Kansas City.Wednesday, February 15 @ 1:30pm CLICK HERE TO VIEW THE CLASS REPERTOIRE & PERFORMERS  Konstantin Lifschitz was born December 10, 1976, in Kharkov. As a child, he became irresistibly attracted to the piano, playing by ear and improvising with total absorption for hours on end. This aptitude for his chosen instrument was so remarkable that at age five he enrolled in the renowned Moscow Gnessin Special Middle School of Music, studying with Tatiana Zelikman. Piano Music for Everyday and Special Occasions - Edina, MNEdina Grand Opening event! Join us for this FREE workshop by Carolyn Miller from Willis/Hal Leonard. Carolyn Miller holds a Bachelor of Music Education degree from the College Conservatory of Music at the University of Cincinnati and a Master of Elementary Education degree from Xavier University. She has taught piano to students of all ages for many years, both privately and in the classroom. She also regularly presents workshops throughout the United States and is often asked to adjudicate at music festivals and competitions. Carolyn's music teaches essential technical skills, is remarkably fun to play, and appeals to both children and adults. Many of her compositions appear on contest lists, including the NFMC Festivals Bulletin. Well-known television personality Regis Philbin performed her "Rolling River" and "Fireflies" in 1992 and 1993 on national television. In her church, Carolyn directs a large choir and plays piano for special services. She enjoys spending time with her family and especially her seven grandchildren, for whom she has composed seven solos. |

Christos Tsitsaros is currently Associate Professor of Piano Pedagogy at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. The recipient of numerous scholarships and awards, Dr. Tsitsaros has appeared in recitals, chamber music concerts and as a soloist throughout Europe and the United States. He holds the Diplôme Supérieur d’Execution from the École Normale de Musique de Paris, an Artist Diploma and MM degree from Indiana University, and a DMA in piano performance from the University of Illinois.
