This exciting event features two talented ladies – Adriana Teodoro-Dier (pianist, educator and visual artist) and Dr. Patricia Baxter Wright (vocalist, educator and visual artist) – both will be showing their art work, and will perform as a duo in their cabaret act, Cabaret Sauvignon. Patricia Baxter WrightPatricia Baxter Wright (Doctorate, Musical Arts, University of Colorado – Boulder) has performed cabaret, musicals, jazz, spirituals and classical music to wide acclaim in France, Germany and major US cities. She has studied with Martin Rich of the New York Metropolitan Opera and with Erika Seeger-Mueller of the Berlin and Mannheim Opera Houses. She has performed with greats such as pianist Lambert Orkis, jazz saxophonist Keith Oxman and the cabaret duo William Bolcom and Joan Morris. She has appeared as Luisa in Fantasticks at the Schnawwl Theatre in Mannheim, Germany, and at Denver’s Germinal Stage in Ogden Nash’s musical revue Progress May Have Been All Right Once But It Went On Too Long. Ms. Wright has performed cabaret at Dazzle Jazz and the Mercury Cafe and for many benefits. She can be heard on her CD “Cabaret Sauvignon.”

Adriana Teodoro-DierAdriana Teodoro-Dier has performed in piano solo and collaborative recitals across the United States and Canada. Adriana completed a Doctorate in Collaborative Piano from the University of Miami, and holds additional degrees in Piano Performance from Cincinnati College-Conservatory and Lawrence University. A multi-faceted individual, she also completed a degree in Physics and is a visual artist with a penchant for producing bold, nature-inspired abstract pieces. A recent transplant to the Denver area, Adriana has enjoyed performing in non-traditional venues, working as a Staff Accompanist at Metro State for vocalists and instrumentalists, and maintaining a private teaching studio.
