Free Performance & Clinics with Alliance Brass

Please join us for a special event with Alliance Brass Quintet at Schmitt Music Brooklyn Center on Wednesday, September 17 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM – Free Performance and Clinics!

All are invited to attend the performance, and bring your horn for the trumpet, french horn, trombone and tuba clinics to follow! The Alliance Brass Quintet is helping us unveil our incredible new Brass Pro Shops space in Brooklyn Center – Trumpet Shop Manager, Mark Bobnick, and Low Brass Shop Manager, Keith Hilson, will be on hand to answer any questions about instruments & accessories.

Hailing from Chicago, Illinois, The Alliance Brass Quintet is comprised of some of the United States’ finest young talent. Members of the ensemble have performed all over the world from Canada and Mexico to Russia, the UK and Japan, having shared the stage with orchestras such as the Boston Symphony Orchestra, the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, and the Celveland Orchestra. These five virtuosos have also performed with the top chamber ensembles in the world including the Boston Brass, Synergy Brass, Stiletto and more.

Alliance Brass is: Chris O’Hara, trumpet; Mary Galime, trumpet; Kelly Langenberg, horn; Rachel Castellanos, trombone; William Russell, tuba.

Dazzling audiences with a repertoire ranging from the early Renaissance to jazz and beyond, the Alliance Brass Quintet is posed to become one of the world’s finest brass ensembles. In addition to performance, the ensemble is equally dedicated to the education of the next generation of musicians and music-lovers alike. Members of ABQ have served on faculty at some of the top music institutions including the Boston University Tanglewood Institute, DePaul University, the International Festival and Institute at Round Top, and more. Beyond their teaching efforts, the ensemble also offers a wide range of programs designed to fit school music programs.
